Wild Fennel, gifts of clarity, evolution, protection & grace —
Essence of Wild Fennel helps us evolve, to let go of that which no longer serves us, and to see the divinity within ourselves and others with greater clarity. I think of the swaying stalk of wild fennel as a small torch illuminating the torso. Each glowing umbel lighting the path forward. This essence has such sweetness to it, helping us evolve with grace, fluidity, strength, and clarity, all while working to protect us from invasive energies that might cloud our sight, keep us separate from others, and slow us down.

This essence was made from a stand of wild Fennel growing on a hillside in Tusa, Sicily glowing with small fires lit by farmhands to tend and fertilize the land. The Fennel blossoms infused for an entire afternoon while the fires were stoked and guided around the bowl. In the distance, we harvested olives all day that were later pressed for oil, taking a break to eat arancini and sip homemade grappa in the shade of cluster of mulberry trees.

Wild Fennel Flower Essence
.5 fluid ounce dose bottle, made in ceremony.
Ingredients: infusion of Finocchio selvatico blossoms, brandy, + filtered water.
Take with Intention: 1-4 drops, 3x daily, under the tongue.
How to Take with Intention?
Begin by being present with yourself as you shake the bottle to activate the essence. Sometimes I like to hold an intention or feeling in my heart as I imagine and thank the flower I am about to ingest. And then, put the drops upon or under the tongue. This can all happen in a few seconds time. After ingesting the essence, gift yourself a moment of quiet receptivity.
Other ways to enjoy?
Drops of essence can be added to a glass of water, pulse points, acupuncture points, and even to a bath to charge the water with the essence’s healing frequency. They can also be used to anoint landscapes, spaces, and objects.
